As part of the ucalgarycares Homelessness at Home program, students explore homelessness and poverty in the city of Calgary. Students learn about homelessness and mental health in collaboration with a local organization, the Mustard Seed. Students get to:
- See downtown Calgary through a different set of eyes
- Explore root causes of homelessness while learning about city resources
- Learn from guest speakers with lived experience
When: February 21-24, 2017
In collaboration with the Mustard Seed, students get to assist with donation sorting, food preparation and painting.
