A computer classroom for a rural school

This year, the ucalgarycares team is building a computer classroom at the Montero y Palito School. The fundraising efforts of the team will fund the required air conditioner to keep the classroom cool in the incredible heat and humidity.

The next step is to begin mixing cement by hand and to apply it to the wire mesh. This system is relatively inexpensive and sturdy, even with the frequency of earthquakes in Costa Rica.
